there are 2 choices under device, a wavform record and a waveform playback and ua-1d is available under both of those

if it IS on both the recorder AND the playback, then you've configured it correctly, just select the ua1d and click apply, i have the ua1d, but i run wavelab 4.0c...
still didnt work

Have you tried recording after picking the UA-1D as the Waveform Record device?

Have you tried playing back with *all* the other devices in the Waveform Playback?

Were you able to playback via CE2000 (or other applications) before installing the UA-1D?

to answer your questions

Have you tried recording after picking the UA-1D as the Waveform Record device? yes

Have you tried playing back with *all* the other devices in the Waveform Playback? yes

Were you able to playback via CE2000 (or other applications) before installing the UA-1D? analog form, but not digital through the 7pin

Sorry, should've asked the followup questions:

Have you tried recording after picking the UA-1D as the Waveform Record device? yes

Did it work?  Were you able to record successfully?

Have you tried playing back with *all* the other devices in the Waveform Playback? yes

And with any of these other devices, are you able to playback a pre-recorded wav through CE2000?  What about playing back *while* recording?  (I think this is the problem you're describing, but understanding the answers to the others may help.)

Were you able to playback via CE2000 (or other applications) before installing the UA-1D? analog form, but not digital through the 7pin

I'm confused...analog form?  If the WAV is on your PC, it's not analog.
