Title: remedial question: joining large files (flac or wav)
Post by: daze on October 04, 2023, 03:48:26 PM
I know this is a remedial question but I'm struggling trying to find the best way to join large (24/48 or 24/96) files, in flac and/or wav, so I can do some edits across the board.  In the past I've used addawav but am wondering if there's a way I can join flac files (addawav doesn't handle this).  My workflow is:  addawav > izotope rx8 > audacity > cdwav to split files.  I'm also looking for a better option than audacity.

Thanks for any tips/advice.

update:  I figured out how to join using foobar 2000.  If there's better options, I'm interested in learning.

I just read them all into logic but i assume that works for most audio editors.

I use WavePad (the free version) for splitting and putting back together.
