Do you need to decode the Sum/ Difference info you get when you run MS with the V3? Does it decode on the fly for you?

If the internal jumpers are set for MS, it'll do it for you.  I believe the V3 is shipped with the jumpers set NOT for MS.

I had the jumpers changed, so I'm good. The manual was just a little vague. Thanks & +T to you guys.

If you have any editing software I recommend running the v3 in normal mode (not MS).  Then transfer it over to a computer and doing the MS mix there.  It'll turn out better in the end.  I have used the endorphin plug-in for wavelab with excellent results.
