Topic: Slow Poke!

My computer sucks lets get that straight from the start.  Finally getting a new one this Christmas.  Lately its been slow as hell, as if it knows that it's days are numbered.  Is there any software (free of course) that will scan for areas that are not used on your computer to free up more memory for better performance.  Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks...

Get a copy windows,delete the hard drive and reinstall it. Its the only way to go

I would try to search for spyware first, just in case ... They can take a lot of ressources if you catch them.
