new batteries?
« on: April 15, 2005, 03:07:15 PM »
Just got an unsolicited call from a "broker" about this company Altair Nanotechnologies Inc stock symbol ALTI.
Altair Nanotechnologies claim to fame is recharable batteries that can recharge in one (1) minute.

Anyone heard this?  Seems to good to be true for sure, but it would be sweet.

recharable batteries that can recharge in one (1) minute.

There was a post on here a while back about a news article covering this subject.  Search around and you may find it.  At any rate, gist of it is - if memory serves - they're still a good ways off from utilizing the technology for consumer products and have some technical challenges to address before creating a usable product.
