This rarely has come up, but I’m trying to fix my WSP 2000 Oak Mountains. Had to have been a stereo setup, I was like 15’ roc, but the audio is more left heavy than it should be. Anyone know of a tool to center the soundstage?

you can normalize both channels independently to same RMS
or if one channel sounds significantly better (like say you are too close and one side gets PA and the other gets uneven stage mix), you can combine the channels somewhat
in sound forge i use 'channel converter' which lets you make either channel a mix of 0-100 % of each channel, respectively

Seems like the question is: Is balancing out the RMS levels of the recording sufficient to balance the soundstage? If so, you're good following the above. If not, you many want to check on Izotope Ozone's Imager, which can be useful if you want to mess with width and balance of soundstage. I use it to widen apparent soundstage on SBD recordings to great effect. It's part of elements, but standard is available for $99 right now.

Waves S1 Imager is the perfect tool for you.
Even have a nifty little visual that shows the "directionality" of the adjustments you're making.
I like the Izotope plug-ins for almost everything, but S1 is one of the main reasons I still keep Waves plug-ins handy, and I use it for over half of the audience recordings I work with.

Will try that. But the Audacity trick worked like a charm. I’m rarely more than a seat or two off center. Thanks!
