you got a local radio shack?

i second the RS route. it's a very flexible cable because of the adaptaplug ends on it. can be used for multiple things.

Now for the rest of the story... at Radio Shack they have "adapt-a-plug" kits. You buy a generic cable and the fittings to go in the ends. I believe you want a B and an M adapter. The prices are rediculous for what it is, but it's easy. It's about $6 each for the plugs + $8 for the cable = $20, but in 1 minute you are done.
There are markings for "Tip" and "+". One of them goes Tip->+ and the other one goes backwards. If you put them both + it won't work. It won't fry your UA-5, but it just won't work. Flip one, and it will work. It doesn't matter which one you flip... they just need to be opposite. If the guy at Radio shack disagrees, he's wrong... it's an Edirol thing.
