Title: Increase D: recovery drive memory allocation Win 7 - help!
Post by: goodcooker on September 30, 2019, 01:19:05 PM

I'm a knucklehead and I should be able to figure this out on my own but...

When working with large files in Wavelab6 I get a low memory available on recovery drive D: message. I'm assuming that the temporary file it creates for the non destructive editing process is too big for the <3gb available on drive D:

What should I do here? Increase the size of D: by changing the partition? Tell Wavelab to save that file on drive C: instead?

I'm stuck. Any help appreciated.

Can you check with the "Disk Cleanup" utility, if there are any temporary files that could be safely deleted?

3GB is not nearly enough temp space for editing. find a drive with 10-20+GB free, preferably not the same one your OS is on
