Title: cable suggestions for line-level interconnects?
Post by: BC on December 29, 2005, 01:47:20 PM
Hey all-

I have some extra Canare RCA ends so I was thinking about making some line-level RCA interconnects for my home playback gear. Does anyone have suggestions as to cable type and suppliers where I could order some bulk wire for this? What is a good brand/model # for this application?

One cable I definitely need to make is for the sub I just bought, will need some long-ass RCA's since I am probably going to place the sub across the room from where most of the gear is situated. I'd also like to make some cables to go from my CD player to preamp.

Sorry if this has already been covered, I haven't been keeping up with the cables section of ts.com.

Thanks and happy New Year everyone!     :)

Ben

found some a good link on the web:

Thinking about going with the Belden 89207 from take five audio, found it for about $2 per foot, seems like a good deal, since I saw a 100 ft roll going for about $200 from markertek. Canare F10 for the ends.    ;D
