Also, the battery box is a bass roll-off which should eliminate any distortion problems.

Hey Marc.... I almost always use them line-in -- it seems to give more play with the levels. Also, the battery box is a bass roll-off which should eliminate any distortion problems. The AD-20 also helps get rid of overage.
