patching question, sample rate
« on: January 23, 2004, 10:50:56 PM »
I have a question on sample rates.

I have been using 44.1 when Ive been patching
(having problems converting 48 to 44.1 to burn cds, but thats another story, )

When patching is it a problem if I have my D8 set to 44.1 and the incoming signal is 48?

Im asking because I think this might have caused some diginoise my last time out, otherwise I havent had problems before.

Thanks for any tips.

ok, you will pick up whatever the lead deck has if its all a digital line of patches.  doesnt matter what your deck is set at if you are going in digitally.

OK, thanks, and I am using a oade 7pin for patching,
I guess there is something else behind the weird diginoises last time out.
