Ok, as a beginner I'll ask..

Can you throw something together in terms of cables? No single page lays out the various patches and conections that a taper will need.

(Don't get me wrong, these boards have helped me over the last 2 months in many ways. The yahoo-laptop-tappers have done the same, too.)
