a 9 volt battery Go inside of the AKG c1000s Or How Do I Do that ???

Just unscrew it.

As previously pointed out, hermann2burn has answered the question.

You'll see once you get them. Trust me.  ;)
Governor Jim McGreevey was equally disturbed about the upcoming population increase. "New Jersey cannot support all of these wookies," he said. "For starters, we don't have nearly enough kindbud. At best, we can muster up a Q.P. of some beasties, but we've not a dime-bag more."

form the akg usa site:

One of the C 1000 S' most important features is that it can be powered by phantom voltage or an internal 9 V battery s o it can be used in places that other high-performance condensers can't. A new feature that has been added to the C 1000S is a built-in battery status monitor. A red LED flashes once at turn on to indicate that the battery has sufficient strength to run the microphone. When battery life drops to 45 minutes, the status monitor LED turns red to indicate the problem.

Chalkdust, a few pointers:  - once you get your gear, whatever it may be, (seems you're getting your mics before you get a recording device), learn to use them inside and out, in the dark.  - do a little research on your own, i found the above with ie search 'akg site'.  - read your posts before hitting the 'post' button.  the 'i need a new keyboard' thing is only going to work so far before you'll start getting chewed up here(happening already) or totally disregarded.

good luck in your future taping, have fun.
