Has anyone done this? I can't figure out how to set it to 24 bit in CoolEdit Pro. It offers all the right sample rates, and a choice of 8, 16 or 32 bit (float). If I set it to 32, will it be able to take the 24 bit signal? My guess is no, but I have no real logic behind it.

i think it will take the 24bit signal at the 32bit float setting. record at that setting and then save it as a 24-bit file, i believe.

Cool. I'm at home bored, maybe I'll run a couple of tests.
