I'll be trying out the emi 2|6 @ 16/44.1 analog in tonight at Stephen Malkmus at the 9:30 Club.  I'll let you know how it goes...

Well I did the opener in Spark ME 2.8 and it worked great.  Absolutely no problems.  I open a new file and go to record Malkmus, pops and clicks all over.  I try numerous things, relaunching the software, switching the input a few times...nothing.

I had to switch to Sound Studio 2.1b1 and missed about 2 mins of the show....

2.1b1?  i thought the 2.1 he released was a final version.  guess i was wrong

Sorry, I meant 2.1.1b1...if anyone wants a link let me know (it fixed a major bug for me where the program would crash on playback).
