I run a recording studio, and have never used it.
I downloaded it for a look. Haven't dug in much, but have mainly observed their well streamlined ability to take your wallet through simple upgrade and add-on paths. Need a plug-in? Don't buy, rent for a week!
I attempted to import a 15 track session done on some other version of PT. Note 16 tracks = voices, which appears to mean open tracks without audio! The master fader and busses seem to count in that 16, at least for import, so it disallowed most of the audio import and loaded everything else. Just crazy.
It seems like a thing to stay away from unless you need to start trading PT sessions with other studios after signing on for the whole ride. For what folks around here need, it's got no edge.
The question of graphics visibility is tough. The latest version of Digital Performer has scalable graphics, but it's not cheap or easy to learn. There must be some others with scalability or varying skins.
