help ripping the audio off a MPEG file?
« on: December 08, 2005, 04:00:46 PM »
I thought that since this is about a video file it might belong here?:

I use a version Vegas without the plugin for MPEG, and I got a cool Bad Brains show from 82 in MPEG..

I can use TMPGEnc to make the DVD OK

I really just want to rip the audio off the file and try and EQ it... really crappy audio..

any suggestions?

thanks

Can't TMPEGenc demux the video file from the audio file and give you an mpg and a wav?  Then you can do whatever you want to the wav in a sound editor, then multiplex them again in a program like DVD Lab.  That's how I would do it.
