Sony D50 - Settings for recording at line level?
« on: August 27, 2008, 08:29:29 PM »
Hope this makes sense.  When recording line in on the D50 the levels are affected by the gain knob.  Is there a setting for the recorder to bypass the gain knob and accept whatever level it is given?  That way if I transfer a vinyl or cassette I can use whatever level the original recording is.

I think the only way to do that is to set the gain at unity, which I "think" is around "3"

(I have a D-50)
