I noticed that occasionally the meters are reversed ( and no, the audio isn't listening thru the line out and headphone and also the recording) Is this a bug? Most folks would prolly not notice it but I happened to tap one of the mics and was suprised that the left channel was showing on the right meter... Didn't change anything and it was back on the left channel... Very freaky...

I had this happen to me also my first time out recording. It stopped after 5 minutes or so though.

Meanwhile back at Creative:
"Look Hubert, we got another one!"
(its prolly the same programmer that messed up the shuffle setting ::) )
G's First time I saw that I hit the headphones to find that something weird was going on and not the L/R flipped....
BTW this was with the latest firmware...

i havent even paid attention to the meters on the jb3 w/ respect to left/right, just gain wise
i will have to take a look at that from now on

That is weird... especially considering that those are the meters I primarily use to make sure the R and L are equal coming out of the UA-5...
I haven't noticed anything like that on mine... I tweak that every time I tape...

pfife, howd you get my families picture from '88;-)

Is that the most ridiculous picture ever? I still laugh every time I see it!
The hair on that kid constitutes child abuse, IMHO....

i've notice this happen every time i pause the recording and then unpause it. its quite frustrating. if my friends soundcheck, i'll record that, then pause and start recording again when they start playing. it seems that i can never leave my levels alone in the beginning so one will be off a little and i'll go to turn it up and all of a sudden the opposite one is clipping like mad. its really confusing. i guess i shouldn't pause the recording.

In doing the testing for my outboard meter (beachtec svu-2) I noticed that the meters were grossly inacurate on mine. Not switching sides though!

Not quite sure what seems to cause it. It is happening with the latest version of software 1.4 xxxx
Doesn't seem to do anything to the recording tho, just freaks out the owner when looking at it...
