Thanks for that. I still havent got a mp3 player yet, still using my minidisc. I'll probably wait a while & see what players are coming out in the near future.

rockbox firmware for the iriver has  recording now. and plays flac and stuff.

I checked out the rockbox site, it's not the easiest to understand, but I didnt' see anything about the recording glitch being fixed?

what exactly does the new rockbox iriver firmware do for recording?

filesize limit for sure i guess.  but its still in development better wait for a final stable release
