Title: 12volt power for ad1000
Post by: jadedphan on November 21, 2008, 09:21:44 AM
hey now,

so I have been reading the 12 volt battery posts, and I have a few questions.  I'm unloading an ad1000 because of the weight of the sla battery I'm carrying (almost 40 lbs).  My unit doesn't like low voltage...does anyone have specific experience with other 12 volt battery options and an apogee ad1k?

I'm thinking of dumping my fostex fr-2le, and switching to a tascam (for the digi in), and then using the ad1k at 20 bit.

any thoughts or options anyone can think of?

Haven't used it with an ad1k, but with an ad2k and it works great.  A bit expensive, but I love it.

Another option is the Battery Geek 10-14-100
