can't get to that link, but this is what i have:

and if you wanna pay me 10 bucks plus shipping ive got one here with no end on it. its a 12v powersonic 800aH charger. it just needs whatever 4 pin you want soldered to the cable.
-
if the powersonic switches automatically from charge to float when the battery is almost done, I Want it.
-
i believe it does, but id ask someone who might know better- this is, im pretty sure, the exact charger that ecocharge uses.
-
it should have a charge led that goes off when in float mode.
-
i dont know because i dont have an end on it to test :-)
-
If it's the Powersonic PSC-12800A (800 mA fast-charge rate), then yes, it switches to float (I have the same charger).
-
thats the charger. if you want it pm me and we will work out the details
-
Yea Brian is right on w/ the part number. If that is what you got i need that charger.
-
fozzy, drop me a pm. we will work it out.
-
another q on 12v
will any old "float" charger work on an ecocharge 12v???
just wondering if theres some kind of weird thing where theyre not compatible w/ other brands
ive only ever used my eco 6v's and eco chargers, so i am just making sure
thanks

Awesome chargers! I have a few +t!
-
what kind of ends do they have??? a 4-pin end would be perfect

come on pholks, nobody knows if a GP-90 will work w/ any 'float' charger ???
-
Not a good idea. (if you are talking about a car battery charger) The float voltage on a flooded cell charger is higher than SLA's and will cook the battery.

nah, the GP-90 is an older 12v ecocharge, i would be using a powersonic or xenotronix charger, but i know nothing about 12v really, i just wanna know if the 12v ecocharge battery(the GP-90) will be charged alright by either of the 2 battery chargers mentioned above, or a batteryminder charger 8)
i just wnana know if those chargers are safe to use w/ ecocharge, pleasae someone, i just wanna get my feelers out there
if i dont snatch uip this ecocharge gp-90 soon, i will prolly just get one from ed at kindkables

Bean I have a powersonic PSC-12800A charger....I use it to charge a 12 volt 7 ah SLA.
I just leave it hooked up all the time....I'm guessing it would work fine with the ecocharge.
-
Bean - looks like there's minimal direct experience with EcoCharge batts and non-EC chargers. Have you tried calling or emailing the EC folks to ask them directly?

i have emailed marc w/ no avail from SS, since hes like theyre lone rep, but i figured it would werk fine, just really anal obsessive bout batts
thanks brian, i appreciate it, ya made me feel alot better, and if you leave it on i guess its a "float" charger ;)
you pretty much answered my q's

brian, i take it that powersonic has a 4-pin end on it, that would save me loads of trouble
-
actually, it doesnt, i just dont have a single 4-pin to solder on
ummm, ncikpicks, is the batteryminder easy to hack a 4-pin on???
-
Bean...FWIW the powersonic is real easy to put a 4 pin on. If ya need one let me know.....I have some 4 Pin males here :)

hey brian, or anyone really, if i were to purchase the powersonic or xenotronix chargers, does ANY cable come w/ either???
if the lamp style cord comes w/ it and all i need to do is solder a 4-pin on, sounds like a good deal to me!!
if NO lamp style cord comes w/ the cahrgers, where does one obtain some!!!
i need a 12v charger in a pinch, and i have the eco stuff, which is rebranded xeno, so......this seems to be the best quality wise, and no "resting" voltages....
