Title: CA ugly battery box question

Can I use this with nak cm300 mics or is there no need since they are battery powered? Very impressed with the results using different mics curious about the naks. Thanks in advance for helping a newbie.

Is this a battery box or a preamp? If your mics are battery powered then there is no advantage to using a battery box what so ever. However if you have a preamp then there is.
