I use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) on PC. I have no idea if it's available on Mac. If it is, though, it's likely worth considering.

When I suggested xACT I actually meant XLD. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
One thing I prefer in Max over XLD, at least with my testing so far: It's easier to tell Max to organize the resulting files by artist and album, which is a feature I quite like.
are they commercially-released CDs? in many cases it is easier to just download someone elses ripped-with-log-and-tagged FLACsas far as ROIO, most if not all of that is already out there as well, some lacking the (in some cases problematic) CD gen
no they are audience recordings. definitely havent been finding them in the database.
I'm not a Mac person, but my understanding is that xACT is the preferred CD ripping tool. Essentially the Mac equivalent of EAC.
