Title: converting a DAT recorded in LP to 44.1
Post by: direwolf1576 on January 17, 2013, 04:15:22 PM
ok I am pretty new to this. So i inherited a sony tcd8. here is the problem i am having. a couple of shows i recorded in Lp to try and conserve tapes.  I was able to download the show liek the first one i did  and edit using audiacity. then when i exported it to the media player to put on cd, I tried to listen to it but then there was no sound. the only differnce is the 2nd show was recorded in LP so i figure thats where I went wrong. Any suggestions?

The easiest way to do this is a standard da>ad stage at whatever sample rate you prefer.

H20 (username) was able to digitally extract the 32k DATs I had in my collection...  Afterwards, I was able to use Audacity to change to 44k...
