Video editing programs for Mac
« on: April 22, 2012, 02:09:06 PM »
Did a video for the first time last night.  Looking for a program to convert .MTS files to .mp4 and a way to add my audio over the top.  Preferably a free version but that's probably doubtful.  Used Mac Video Editor and it works fine except it's just the demo version so it leaves a watermark.  Any suggestions?

Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Handbreak is a good and free converter.

If you have a Mac, iMovie is good enough for what you're trying to do. If you have a Windows 7 PC then you can use Windows Live Movie Maker. These are really, really basic programs.
