HD space Q?
« on: December 13, 2003, 07:20:28 PM »
Maybe this is a stupid Q, but I have a hard drive full of music that's in MP3 & wave formats adn I'm running out of room. COuldn't i just put them into FLAC format as well as any new music that I record?

I just planned on having my HD as a back up to the discs adn tapes that I have, any thoughts?

Thanks
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot but you guys are the experts  ;), peace

FLAC the WAV files. Doesn't make much sense to compress mp3's anymore. Burn discs.

did you download these shows in shn or flac format? I burn off data discs of all the shows I download, and then burn audio cds as needed.

CDs are cheap...
