Ultra-newbie Q: How does Kickdown Central work?
« on: December 18, 2003, 11:02:26 PM »
???  I'm sure there's an archive entry that explains this, but forgive me for not knowing where to look....

I gather from various threads that folks are downloading other folks' recordings, but I don't know where to go to find out how.

Could somebody steer me to some explanations, or give me a quick primer?

Thanks!

Honestly, if you're looking to download shows, the best place I've found is www.sharingthegroove.org.  Mostly bit torrents, but there's some ftp and b&p action going on as well.  Great wide variety of music.

As for the posts on this msgboard, I have never even looked in there.

my best luck have been running off the archive.org.  get an FTP client, and set a show to download.  That has given me the best results, and fastest.
