just wondering what everyone uses as a power source for their equipement when no outlet is available????
-
i'm using a microtrack and an m-audio preamp... and sorry, I didn't notice the whole section on power sources
-
there are many different types of power supplies for the many different types of gear that tapers/eng use out in the field.. if this is a specific question about a specific type of equipment you would like to power "remotely", I would suggest listing the make/models of the gear you have. You will get help quicker.....
for example.. I use these for the two pieces of gear I run "remotely"...

as you can see they are pretty different in configuration and power, which is why I'm suggesting you be specific..
edit: and.. yeah.... go check the the "remote power" section as well! hehe :P umm ok.. :-[ this topic is in that section! duh..

sorry.... again i'm new to this. I'm running a microtrack with an m-audio audio buddy and a pair of akg c1000's. I have access to a xantrex mobile 100 from my work. Will that power my set up for 3-4 hours max????
