What app can I use to open a 4chx1 recording?
« on: July 12, 2010, 04:06:16 PM »
Save me the questions on why I would record in that mode, as it was a simple drunken mistake.  I meant to record in mono x 4.

Now when I pull the individual files up in Wavelab, it doesn't recognize the format.

I'm sure there's an application out there that can view/edit these types of files but I haven't been able to find one as of yet.

Any ideas?

I'd like to get these all separated into individual mono tracks, if possible.

Thanks,
Nick

Sound Devices "Wave Agent" should do what I think you want to do.  It's free and here's a link:

I think Audacity will do the trick, too...
