Or even better...snag a used nomad muvo or whatever it is called.  It comes with a 4gb card inside.  Take out the card, and junk the rest.  Much cheaper than axctually buying it.

That 4gb "card" is a IBM/Hitachi microdrive.  This is an ok solution for 16 bit recording, but there are issues if you want to record 24/96.  With my PDA rig, the microdrive cannot sustain write speeds fast enough to capture 24/96 for more than 40 minutes or so.  I have not played around with the microdrive to know whether it works at 24/96.  Also, the microdrive has moving parts, and is more fragile than a CF card.

These prices for 2gb CF cards is amazing.  I'll probably pick up a couple.
