. So what is the difference between 100's and 300's, other than the batteries? And to maybe answer the original question, which I thought was, "Is it OK to run 2 CM300 bodies with one having a CM100 attn. barrel and the other having a CM300 barrel"? Or maybe I'm reading this wrong.
I'm guessing that it's going to work out fine, judging by this response...

"are you guys referring to the 10db pad? if so, they are identical. i have ts's cm100 and bornagaintaper's cm300 apart right now."
I'm under the impression that the pads in the 100's and 300's are the same, with the difference in the two being the preamp stage of the mics.
If I'm wrong please tell me so!
I'm not over concerned because I do have three 300's, 2 having identical pads and the one having the pad from a 100.
I was just curious as to the differences sonically, whether it was going to cause any big issues in the future when I start running 5 mic mixes with my buddy's band.
Thanks for the info folks!
