Audacity's Amplify function..
« on: June 14, 2007, 11:56:12 AM »
I tried searching around about this and didnt find exactly what I was looking for so I thought I would just ask..

I always try to do as little as possible in post, but I was wondering if when you amplify the levels in Audacity, if that affects the sound quality at all?  Its not generally a really significant increase, but an increase nonetheless.

Thanks in advance..
