Is there a way to control the gap between tracks? I upgraded to vista and can no longer use my old copy of wavelab (even though I never burned a dvd-a with it). I finally tracked out a show from last week and made a dvd-a using dvd-audiophile.
when i throw the dvd-a in, it sounds great but there is a small gap between tracks. it was a toshiba dvd player.
So since this is the first time I have used sound forge and the first time I've made a dvd also, I'm curious where the gap came from.
I'm guessing it could come from
1. My tracking process in SF ( I pretty much cut and pasted the tracks into new 24 bit wav files like I did with wavelab).
2. The dvd-a software or something I didn't set right when creating the ISO.
3. Perhaps, my dvd player puts gaps in on playback. I know I've got another DVD a around here but can't find it and don't remember if it had gaps or not.
I don't have any blank cds, but I"ll probably go grab some tomorrow and see if i dither and burn it, if it will have gaps as CD audio.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Gray
