Wavelab help
« on: October 08, 2007, 08:46:31 PM »
I'm having a problem in post hoping someone may have an idea of what is going on.

I taped the Black Crowes and ran a 4 mic mix. I ran it through Audacity 24/48 > 16/44.1

I am using Wavelab 3.0 (yeah I know I need to upgrade but it works for now)
the problem I am having is when doing an Audio Montage one source loads up complete but for
some odd reason the second loads up only the first 5 mins or so.

Both files are 1.03 gb and play on my winamp all the way through I have shut down tried again and again
with the same results. I can't imagine why it is happening.

The only new thing I have done is I recently got a  500gb external HD (hitachi H3500U ) which these files are stored on .  Any ideas ?
  Thanks in advance

try moving them from your external to your main hdd then load.

Sometimes my editing software does not play nice with the external HDD's.   YMMV
I actually work for a living with music, instead of you jerk offs who wish they did.

bwaaaahahahahahaha.... that is awesome!

I'll give it a shot , I may just put all of my stuff on my internal 160gb hd on the 500gb and just work
from the internal if this works . Transfering 24 bit to the external takes forever anyway ! >:(
