Sound Forge 8.0 and CD Architect 5.0
« on: October 06, 2007, 12:50:16 PM »
Just bought the complete program and I am learning how to use all the tools.

After I have tracked out the whole file (CD tracks) how do I get CD Architect or Soundforge to save the individual files so that I can convert them to FLAC or burn them to CD.

Right now it wants to make an image of the whole file but I want it to export the individual files in WAV form.

In Audacity it is called the "export multiple" option then I selcet the format I want.  How do I this with these two programs?

Thanks

Well, I just figured it out, :iamwithstupid: took me all night though.

Here is what I did for future reference for other people.

(In sound forge 8.0) Make markers where you want the tracks to be.  Designate the areas between the markers regions.  Then use the export regions function.

It will then export them to the file of your choosing in whatever format you want.

I'm not sure why I get dinged tickets every time I ask a question.  I thought that is what this whole site was about.   Sharing information and helping out other tapers.  It’s like I get punished here for being a newbie.
So to all of you elitists out there  :flipa: thanks for nothin! Sorry to bother you!

We call them "haters" because we are too polite to use their real name.   8)

I used to use Sound Forge for tracking, then I learned to use CD Wave.......  Huge difference is how easy that is.  Still doing fades and  other stuff in SF but CD Wave for tracking, FLAC, & mp3 for personal use.
