OK, this may sound silly, but I am about out of my FujiFilm made in Japan 80 min CDR's... I basically stopped burning non-master recordings to them.
I know a lot of people are using Taiyo Yuden these days, but is there a better brand or are they still the best ones out there for master recordings?
I see a few places selling them for from .28 to as high as .62 per disk... so looking for imput as to which ones are the best quality for the buck and where people are finding them
Thanks

what's a CD ? ;D

I know, but since I record to WAV files, I feel safer having an extra "hard copy" of the shows I personally record... in case the DVD backups (at least 2) both fail

go with TY's

Taiyo-Yuden is the OEM of relabelled stuff for Fuji, Maxell and TDK to name a few.

There is only one clear choice, it is Taiyo-Yuden for recordable media. I archive on nothing else.

As a rule, if blank CD-R media is made in Japan, it's Taiyo Yuden, no matter what the brand name might be on the package.
