I wanted to get a nomad jb3 down the road and wanted to get some nice mics to go along with it, I was thinking of something at the lower price range of the high end mics.
-
well a lot of people run the jb3 with a pre and a/d in front of it, the possabilities are endless. how much are you looking to spend?
-
Yeah, if you're running an outboard pre and A/D, there's really no relationship between the mics and NJB to consider.
-
jpschust I will have to consider price when I know where I stand money wise after I finish college in may.
thanks for the replies

no problem. for now id suggest getting and listening to as many tapes as you can with different sources. forget about the jb3 at the end, just listen to a ton of different sources, especially if you can get them of the same show and even better at similar positions at the same show- listen to everything then make up your mind, dont buy something cause some jackass (most likely me) tells you its the best thing ever.
