Title: Most reliable sd micro card for Sony m10?

Don't need 32, 16 is fine for my needs, most concerned with reliability. Thanks!

I have used adata, kingston, sd all fine
only time I have ever heard of m10 issues is with the card in upside down

I use Sandisk cards pretty exclusively and I have never had a problem with any card I've used.  Seems like a pretty forgiving recorder in that regard.

In over 5 years of recording on PCM-M10's, I've not had a card problem, that I can recall, or find notes on in my file. Approximately 600 live recordings, plus plenty of other stuff like digitizing LP's, voice recording, etc.

Most if not all were made on Sandisk cards, both MicroSDHC (Class 4 or 6, I think), and the M2 cards which are much slower, I think they only come in "class 2" equivalent.

I've been using sandisk. The biggest thing with those little cards seems to be making sure they are correctly seated. You can get partial contact that will give you i/o errors. That is always a bit disconcerting. With the m10 I try to never remove the card.

My local k-mart regularly puts most thumbdrives and sandisk micro sd on sale. They come with an sd size holder. I just bought a 32gb ultra plus for about $18, maybe less.
Also, a memorex 16gb thumb drive I recently purchased was defective. It was extremely slow on writes, from the start. I returned it. It was nice dealing with a local source.

The issues I experienced with the thumb drive gave me pause about being too lax with new digital media. I need to be more careful about testing, etc, before relying upon them. Though unrated thumb drives are always a crapshoot and tend to be a lower quality product.

Fug! I blew a 4th row Bonamassa recording because I had the card upside down and I didn't double check.
