Title: What kind of cables to use with AD20??
Post by: redbook on May 25, 2005, 03:24:31 PM
Hi there,

I have the following rig:

AT853 rx > PS2 > AD20 > JB3

What kind of cables do I need from the AD20 to the JB3?
Should I take the coax or the toslink route?

Thanks :)

Optical.  The JB3 doesn't have a digital coax input.

That's just a RA adaptor, you need the whole cable. Something like this:

duh the picture showed the cable, too.
Should I got right angle connector on the toslink side? I think the optical calbles are very fragile

Edit: any specific brand recommended?

Radio Shack is a good place to pick 'em up...I haven't had any fragility problems:
