Title: Iso service manual and help with AD-500

Hi, does anyone know where I might find the schematic or service manual for an AD-500. I'm looking for the service manual not the owners.
here's my problem. Lately, my deck is having trouble locking on to the 500's signal. It shuffles between 32, 44.1 and 48k trying to find the clock signal. Sometimes it locks on others not. When it does lock on and pass the signal to the deck there is about -30  to -20 db's of noise under the signal. really crunchy static and hiss.
I know these units had a problem with the crystal going bad and I'm wondering if that might be the problem. I pulled the cover off the unit and I can see the crystal. I don't have a frequency counter to check if it is oscillating at the correct freq. If anyone can help or has experinced a similar problem I'd appreciate any and all help
