Is it the picture, because there looks like there is some strain on the lemo's from the "bar pin".  Maybe this should enter from the top or bottom of the bar.

there is, I was in a huge hurry, as I picked thes up at lunch, and set up, took pics, resized, uploaded, and posted all on lunch, while also finding time to eat.  The easiest way would just be to turn the knobs around and enter from the front.

edit:" also, with the ORTF, it would be even worse, so you would def want to enter from the front., NOS, it wouldn't matter at all

that package is easily worth $150, nice work, and for reference just compare the cost of all of this gear with say a single configuration bar from Schoeps or, worse, DPA, they would cost twice as much for a single configuration bar

prices posted, DIN and DINa now part of set, M/S optional.  center bar is now the standard 20mm size instead of 3/4".

will AKG or MBHO be the next setup?  ;D

i am officially in for 1 set

5 orders with a new setup, just to cover the costs of measurements, prototype, setup and materials.  after that, they can be ordered 1-2 sets at a time.

based on the replies (not the voting since i dont know who voted) it looks like you have it.
Grider, Ted, terrapinj, JNT, manitouman.

not sure exactly what configs you guys would want, but if noone wants the m/s, and you could settle on 3-4 attachments vs the whole 5 piece setup, it would speed things up and keep costs down a little.  I would do an intro price for the first batch of sets like I am for the Neumanns, just to cover the R&d etc, not to make any money.  the profit margin on these is VERY little even at full price, as I basically just wanted to get this out to people, and to get me a set of my own  :P

i don't think M/S is necessary for us - I personally don't need the omni bar but I will pay for it if the group wants them ordered

May as well have all four.  Do you think the two different style capsules, cone vs tube, would have an effect the design, or is it all about the connection to the lemo?  My cards and omnis are cone and my hypers are the tube style.  Check out the actives mount options thread that chuck started recently for pictures of the two different styles.

shouldn't make a difference IMO - the lemo end is the only concern for mounting - the rest just fits into place - i'm assuming the 2 styles are equal length - did BJ have a cap when he did measurements?
