My first stealth test
« on: January 12, 2004, 11:08:08 AM »
Well I did my first stealth test run, and what a success! Just an area cover band but wanted to get a feel for the equipment and levels.  I went the not so expensive route with the SP version of the AT853 with a battery box, mounted in croakies, JB3. However as I expected from myself, the sound is good but not great. So I ordered the Audix micros (M1290-HC), PS-2, AD-20 (so much for the cheap route!) that should take care of my taste. Thanks to all the help around here, just like some recent posts suggest, I lurked for a few months reading all I could and asking questions, I’ve got to say you all are the most noncommittal people I’ve run up against for direct answers. However in the long run I learned more by having to dig for the answers I needed. Go team Audix!!

When you start a cover band who says Styx?

They say ostrich has less fat, but you eat more of it

I just ordered the Audix, and the rest today, should get them with in a week, I'll let you know then. I'll be running stealth most of the time. I'll see when I get them, more than likely in a hat ortf. Maybe croakies with wide arm sunglasses.
