Anyone using a Touchpad with Win8?

Im getting ready to try to make a PC with Win8 for my TV watching...(HomeRun Tuner)

Has anyone tried using a touch surface - like one of these?

Might be better than trying to fight the Win8 touch controls with a mouse...?
