Which battery running time to expect?
« on: March 21, 2008, 10:06:47 PM »
Hi there!

I've got an iRiver h140 (rockboxed) with SP-CMC-4U (low sens mod) mics! External power supply is a SP-SPSB-10 battery module with (according to soundprofessionals.com) 12V power, though I've never seen a battery of 12V being that small!

So what would be the maximum battery running time when recording in wavpack format @ 44.1kHz stereo with hold switched on?
Cheers

Power module has 30-50 hour battery life, depending on microphones used.

That's posted on the item description at SP.com.  No idea what end of the range your mics would lean toward.  No biggie, just change it every 30 hours if you want.

I change the 9v in my battery box once a year.
