660 to computer
« on: April 10, 2007, 02:25:50 AM »
cant find my manual and havent transfered anything from the 660 to the computer yet... can't figure it out either.  i turn it on with it plugged into the computer, i see the USB/COPY button, so i push that and it reads No. V Track and goes back to the time signature.   is there a driver?  i haven't found one...
Thanks

if its anything like the 671, once connected via usb, you have to hold down that button while you turn it on.

Yes, what he said. Hold the USB button and then turn on the machine and you should see USB on the screen.

I would use a cf card reader instead. I have a 660 and can transfer a 2 gig card in a couple minutes. I think the transfer time straight from the 660 is a good bit longer. My reader was only like 19 dollars or something like that.
