AKG Acoustics CK 99 L Miniature Lavalier Microphone

Has anyone had any experience using these?  I assume you could rewire and 4.7k mod a set to be used in the field? 
Mics: SP-CMC-8 AT933 Body 4.7K mod AT853 (c, sc) U853 (h) Microline Shotguns
Pres: CA 9100, SP-Preamp
Recorders: MT2 , Tascam DR-07, PCM-M10, PCM A10

There is also the AKG HM1000 M Hanging Module with cap options. The write ups make them sound very similar to the AT mics.

Good lavalier microphones often have frequency response that's tailored for placement on a person's chest, where there are strong resonances that need to be downplayed. It's not generally a good idea to use such microphones for music recording unless you know for certain how they will respond with the kind of placement that you intend to use.
