Title: Audacity + FrogMeter for mac
Post by: aberg on November 16, 2006, 10:10:26 AM: Are these 2 apps together good for doing 24bit recording in the field from a ua-5? frogmeter looks much nicer than the audacity built in meters.

Just click on the Meters toolbar thingie (not sure what to call it, see attached) and drag it off the default toolbar space. Then re-size as desired.

Forgot to mention - it's a bit screwy re-docking the toolbar, you can't just drag it back (dumb, I know). Right-click the undocked toolbar, and select Disable. Then go to Preferences | Interface and tick the Enable Meter Toolbar checkbox.
