Topic: R-09 Questions

I am going to record the Police tomorrow night in WPB 10th row center with my R-09 & Sonic mics that are powered by a single AA battery.

What is the optimal setting for the R-09 for this ?

I have it like this

Sonics plugged into Mic Jack

Settings on back of R-09

ACG- Off
Mic- Stereo
Low Cut - Off
Mic Gain - High

Internal Settings

Record 48K
File Size 2GB
Input Monitor SW - ON
Plug in Power - OFF   ( This is if there is no battery on the sonic mics right?) (What about an ALD box ? On or Off ? )

Thanks in advance for any help....  I have yet to get a great recording from this little plastic box !

One more question:

I am using old 1992 Sonic Studio Mics DSM-6P that run on a single AA battery.

Should I use Line in or Mic on the R-09 ??

If I use Mic should I use Low Gain or Higfh Gain for the best recording ??

I will be 10th row at a Police Concert tonight.
