DAT deck servicing
« on: July 06, 2006, 01:37:21 PM »
Anyone know someone that still services DAT decks, preferably quickly?
I have a DA-P1, DA-20MkII and D8 that I would like serviced before putting them on ebay.

I'll chime in for Paul as well, but I noticed that you said "preferably quickly". I'm not sure what his backlog is but I'm sure it can get sizeable. However, he can give you a time estimate and expedite your deck if you're in a rush. It'll cost you an extra fee, but he's very up-front about costs and checks with you before he does any repair work beyond the initial inspection.

Another recommendation from me.   Everything I've sent to Paul has been completed within two days of being in his shop.

Another vote of confidence for Paul at prodigital.  They are very good about customer service, i.e., keeping you apprised of the problem and timing if you call them.

Anyone know if his shop is servicing the new flash recorders like the Edirol?
